A kitty is always a good friend
This doesn’t seem like a great idea. Any pet is a big commitment and responsibility, one that will last perhaps 20 years or more. Don’t get a pet just because you see other people who have pets. Get one because you truly want to spend the next couple of decades in the company of one.
i have two kittens (as shown in my profile picture) and it takes responsibility and money and love.
yeah, maybe i’m not ready for one now. Perhaps a pet betta would be more my pace
Sz people are widely different anyway. Just cause im sz won’t garantee i’ll like a cat
one question, do cats care if you are a stay at home son? I’m worried if i hypothetically get a cat, he or she would wonder why i only go out like 2-3 times a week
Cats don’t like to judge
Too much trouble, though cute. I can barely take care of myself.
My cat is not my pet; my cat is part of my family. Seriously.
I’ve heard people say they basically take care of themselves. Just feed and change litter box, and play with them a bit
I may be wrong
Who cares what he thinks?
Cats cough up hairballs and eat bugs. Who the hell is he to judge?
The litter box needs to be scooped out daily. It also needs to be cleaned every two or three weeks by emptying the dirty litter and scrubbing it thoroughly with soapy water and rinsed and dried completely. If you don’t get all the soap out if it completely, the cat may refuse to use it and that means you have to empty the litter out again and rinse that soap residue out and dry it again. It is not as bad as bad or hard or time-consuming as it sounds but it needs to be done regularly and it can be a pain.
Cats are less needy than dogs but if you keep an indoor cat which is recommended, it needs to be played with often for exercise and his mental health. Indoor cats do not need to be declawed but indoor cats are recommended because they have a life span of about 8 or 9 years longer than an outdoor cat. Outdoor cats get in fights with other cats or dogs, get hit by cars, are in danger of getting abused by kids or teenagers are exposed to disease and fleas and parasites and it is just dangerous for a cat to run freely outdoors and that is why keeping a cat indoors is recommended.
My cat is really used to me being home. She waits at the door when I leave.
I prefer dogs but my twin and his family love cats. it’s a balance I have to make in life
I’m an aXXhole. My cat’s an aXXhole. We can relate to each other.
Having a cat is a real commitment. They need attention and it’s often when you need sleep or you’re busy, but you still have to work your pet in because they suffer if you don’t.
My 2 cents.
My cat picks and chooses when she wants to listen to me. She just stares at me
Owning a cat or dog takes a lot of work and commitment.
It also adds up money wise.
We all like screaming at the moon. Are you going to scream at the moon now?
@77nick77. I got drunk in college once and cried out to the moon,“Oh beautiful moon!” As I stuck my head out the 8th story dorm room.
Toxoplasma gondii, sz and cats. Makes sense.
