It’s -20 degrees Fahrenheit in Chicago today. Brrr!
It’s bitter cold in my city, too. -11F temperature, with a -34F windchill. Like I wrote on Say Anything, I’m not leaving my apartment today. I bought four packs of smokes at the gas station last night, just so I wouldn’t have to walk there today or tomorrow.

That’s one of the reasons to go out every two hours. @CoCo. The pig has shelter plenty of fat and hair. We tried to put a tarp in front of her door to keep the cold air out but 4 piglets died anyway.
The fifth one is fighting for her life. I brought her inside and turned up the heat. We’ll have to bottle feed her.

that’s so sad.I can’t even imagine that kind of cold. I hope they are getting the homeless population into warming shelters.
