I realised something today and that is there are probably 2 things keeping me on meds.

The thought of a side effect free med (iti-007) which is just around the corner.
What if iti-007 doesn’t work out for me? That’s not going to be pretty.
Anyway, just a bit of a vent.

I have decided to stay on Risperdal until iti - 007 comes out - I am willing to try this drug out.
I really should be on Depakote but I’m getting really tired of having more serious side effects.
Depakote has messed with my liver in the past, plus it’s a big weight gaining med - I don’t need this.
My psychiatrist does not like to push these meds onto me - she is very careful prescribing meds.
Her philosophy is less is better.
She is not a big fan of Depakote.

Thats the dark side of lumateperone. Its not going to work for everyone. It supposedly only has the same effectiveness as saphris. So if saphris worked for you then maybe lumateperone will.
Yesterday I didn’t take the three antipsychotics I regularly take and couldn’t sleep because of over active deep-limbic system but I don’t have negative symptoms now. Able to use laptop instead of dumping it in the attic all because of negative symptoms
