Any one try this med for anxiety at 25 mg. any sexual side effects? I’ve been reading really good things on drugs. Com.
I know for me depression and anxiety go hand in hand, so I can see how this may work. It would have to be taken every day, not as a PRN. I used to get terrible anxiety, but my dr refused to prescribe me a benzo for it, saying that if we get my depression under control the anxiety will go with it. She was right. It took giving up alcohol to enable my antidepressant to do its job; I always knew I needed to get sober to get well, but alcohol had one hell of a hold on me. My antidepressant is Wellbutrin XL. I’m thinking Zoloft is an SSRI, and those don’t work great for me, but yeah they help a lot of people. I became terribly suicidal after just a few days on Zoloft, so I had to stop it quickly. I’m sure it’s only a small minority of patients who experience that side effect, though; I believe all antidepressants carry the risk of that side effect, anyway.
Was on 100 mg as a teen, which did absolutely nothing. But then again, I have never taken an ad that has helped.
