I got it prescribed today gonna give it a shot gonna take it no matter what for social anxiety
Used to take it , didn’t help a lot for my hypochondria. It does work for a ton of people though.
I take it for depression works fine for me.
Yes, I take zoloft for OCD and depression. I’ve been on it for years. It’s a good med, not too many side effects, I just have higher heat sensitivity (I’ve always been somewhat sensitive to heat, zoloft just increases it), excess sweating, and some weight gain.
I take it for depression. I never think about suicide
Anti depressant and for my intrusive thoughts, has helped
I take it for depression. It’s working well. I’m on max dose 200mg. Without it I have no interests no motivation don’t shower…it has made a difference.
I take a really low dose of Zoloft. ADs make manic so i can’t take much. I also take Lamictal to balance it out. It works okay for me and i haven’t notice any side effects.
Zoloft is a wonder drug for me after failing on paxil and lexapro. It got rid of my social anxiety almost completely and hugely helped my depression.
Everyones different though, my sister took zoloft and immediately got suicidal thoughts. Go figure
I take itwith my ap. Helps my motivation and dressive slumps.
Hope it works for you!
I took it, without an AP, but just for a few weeks. I felt unnaturally happy, energetic, unempathic and impulsive. I just wasnt me. And perhaps a bit on the hypomanic side.
Someone i know finds it a wonderful med though.
So it just depends on the person. Keep in touch with your own body and mind and with your pdoc. Hope it works!
I used to. I liked it, but I switched to Celexa which is completely covered by my insurance
Well upside it was the most effective AD I was ever on it was wonderful for my PTSD/anxiety as well. Downside it gave me terrible bladder issues felt like I had to pee very badly constantly even when there was barely anything or nothing in my bladder. It ended up messing up my bladder to where even after I quit it I had bladder issues for years and had to do physical therapy to improve it. It’s just now starting to improve.
Your on the same medication as me …paliperidone and Zoloft.
