Lost another 1kg (2.2 pounds)

I’m down to 2000 calories a day now to continue losing weight. I think I’m managing to do it because metformin is decreasing my appetite.

I might try dropping to 1900 next week, which normally would have been impossible for me. But I’m pretty motivated to lose weight now.

I need to lose weight. My weight is over 250lbs. Other than limiting the calorie intake to 2000 calories, are there certain foods that you avoid and other food that you prefer to eat to lose weight? I was thinking on becoming a vegetarian last night. Maybe i will go through with it.

No, I eat whatever I want. It’s great in that respect. I had a burger and French fries tonight. (516 calories)

When I get to my target weight I’ll start making better food choices though.

This is good news - Keep up the great work!

Congratulations. I hope you continue to make progress. I can’t eat sandwiches because they cause too many cravings although I have eaten hamburger patties without the bun. I have continued to steadily lose weight on my diet. i have lost 7 pounds since March. I still weigh a considerable amount and would not be pleased with my weight not too many years ago but progress is progress. The key is to stay at it at it and make it a lifetime thing. That’s so difficult to do really.

Holy crap you are lucky to get 2000 a day bc if I ate any more than 1400 cals a day I would be like 300 pounds. I was fed a 2000 calorie diet by a nutritionist in the hospital and gained like 4 pounds a week.
