So Netflix has paid some money and they’ve produced the Witcher ( it’s a game series that is really good based on some really good Polish fantasy novels.) series that is due to be first shown this friday Aussie Eastern time around 6pm from what I can gather.
The books are good and worth a read. Very different in style and substance and I’m really enjoying them. The games…I’ve played a lot of 1 and a lot of 3 and they are fantastic fantasy games. Real quality from a European company. So looking forward to this and haven’t seen any previews or spoilers…I just want to watch what happens and go from there…
3 is ridiculously good. Give it a go. Has some very interesting narrative and it’s really well done. I’m hoping the tv series is as good. The books are different but good too.
Play them. 1 is good but a bit hard on newer hardware. 3 is madly good. I think it got like 10’s of certain game sites and it deserves that score. The books are interesting. You play the games as 1 character this Geralt but you change his stats of course. He’s kinda an anti hero and he’s a mutant. He’s not really the hero of his world and that story is interesting. It’s a crazy, brutal world even in games and you do stuff that isn’t good but it carries over to your story. Very good.
