Walking her dog started barking. The dog detected my dogs and naturally barked and she litterally spanked him three times.
Nothing that would bruise or damage him but disturbing a dog owner disciplining their pup like that.

There’s a woman at work who tells stories about her dog misbehaving and she says that she beats him for it. I thought she was joking at first, but I really don’t think so.
That’s horrible. The worst I do with my cat is squirt him with water if he is into something he shouldn’t be. I try to avoid yelling and I never hit him.
There are probably many people out there who shouldn’t have dogs. I think for a dog there really ought to be a course for people to get licensed to have them, to take care of animal wellfare and the dogs rights. I feel in particular people with dogs, because many times I have seen people who should not be dog owners. People who are controlling get dogs as opposed to other pets.
Obviously I don’t mean all dog owners are overly controlling, but hopefully you know what I mean.

Sometimes people think they want one then realize they are too self absorbed to care for them.
Their imagination and view of having a dog is doesn’t align with all the responsibilities involved and they send the dog away.
Yeah a dog barking is probably its most natural impulse it has. It would probably cause the dog mental issues if its punished every time it does it.
I really want to get a dog. I had one as a kid. And i loved my ex gf’s dog a lot. I think it would be great for my gf and i. Especially since we dont want kids or anything.
