Spent 4 hours with her today with the trainer. My dog barks relentlessly when she sees other dogs. She has a bad reputation in the neigh ourhood lol.
Anyway it was so helpful and lots of useful information. So i will be putting into practice what ive learned.
A long time ago I made a post about whether or not it was humane to use a bark collar.
They don’t shock them, they just vibrate and it’s unsettling.
Definitely use the knowledge you gained from the trainer,
But if it gets too bad, the collar works.
My dog only had to wear it a little bit.
He still barks a lot, but at appropriate times.
There are huskies in our neighborhood who win the “worst dogs in the neighborhood” award due to their constant noise.
Though mine aren’t known for being well behaved so I shouldn’t be so judgy.
