All I get tomorrow is two large bowls of beef broth…organic…probably after that I will drink coffee with sugar and diet cokes and water…but at 5 00 pm I have to drink the gallon of go lightly…lemon flavored…yuck. then nothing for the rest of the night and next morning…I am going to cook jambalaya when I get home from the procedure. (colonoscopy) sorry to keep talking about it…I can’t go to sleep because tomorrow is the last day before they put me under…why am I afraid?
Good luck. Always a scary thing going under but I’m sure you’ll be fine. I’m nearing 50 and that is on the cards for me in a couple of years…Hope it’s all good!
when I was 51 was when I finally got my first colonoscopy and they found that 3 out of 5 polyps were precancerous. saved my life…they said come back in five years…well, I have been dreading it the whole time but the time has come again…my doctor assured me I wouldn’t be awake for the first minute of the colonoscopy this time…they botched my anestesia and the nurse had put a cinch on my IV. he took that off my IV. and I went under immediately…but still it didn’t feel good having the first line sent in my ass. haha

Stay strong @jukebox, it’s not an easy task to do, but it needs doing if you want to live healthy.
That Jambalaya would make me do a lot of things I normally wouldn’t do…

Man… Jealous. I’m always awake thru that humilating procedure.
