Anesthesia mostly wearing off now, so I may still be a little off or unclear in my typing. Had some polyps. I don’t know how many. Doctor just said “lots”. He removed all he found I believe.
Still have to have them tested to see if any are precancerous or whatever.
I have to go in for another endoscopy in 3 months and a colonoscopy in 6 to 12 months.
Don’t remember anything from operation. One minute I was in operating room laying on my side and the next I was back in the recovery room. I don’t even remember them using the anesthesia. The anesthesia they used completely knocked me out. It was not like some where you are partially awake.
On a restricted diet until Monday.
Here’s one page of pics. There were many but I didnt feel like taking a pic of them all. Pretty obvious polyps in them.
My anesthesia was the same I was knocked out, and the thing was they did not give me water to drink. As they said its restricted. Also I was breathing though my mouth as my entire nose was blocked with some substance. We are not supposed to drink more water at the initial hours.
I did not even know they were going through the mouth too until just before operation. I remember doctor saying we needed to do upper and lower, but I guess I didn’t understand what that meant.
You were very brave having that procedure i can tell it was weighing on your mind but its out the way until the next time. I hope you’ll be okay and its nothing serious
Very glad. The combination of the positive cologuard and the sulfer burps, probably from the ozempic, and other small things, really had me thinking for awhile that there was a good chance that I had colon cancer.
Also, It’s nice to be able to eat. Also not go to the bathroom every 5 mintues .
