Dr put me on 50 mg for paranoia, anxiety, ptsd and insomnia. Anyone have luck with this medication? I have very bad disorganization of thinking. The dr said it will help.
It helped me but it also made me pre diabetic so watch what you eat
It made me eat sugar uncontrollably and I gained 30 lbs in like 2 months so be very careful what you eat.
What symptoms did it help with?
I take 100mg at night for sleep and to help with leftover psychosis. I’ve actually lost weight on it but I had to try to do that
It kept all my.psychotic symptoms at bay. I didnt even know I had sza at that point, they put me on it for OCD and mood swings
You do realize that 50 mg. is a low dosage?
Yes I’m suppose to move up in a week
I kept the worst of my delusions and depression at bay for 2.5 years.
I have an antipsychotic that works. In addition I take 25 mgs of Seroquel at night for sleep.
I’m taking 50mg for sleep right now used to take 200mg to sleep but it caused me to gain so much weight I hated it.
Is the weight gain thing dose related? Maybe it is.
I thought at 200 mgs per day the body would get used to the sedating effect and Seroquel would no longer put one to sleep. I thought at a low dose of Seroquel the sleep inducing effect would keep.
My one doctor says that as important it is to get the right medication, the right dose is equally important.
