So once again Im on 25 mg Seroquel, and my sleep is good. So I hope it will go well. I will probably not ever get off meds completely. But 25 mg Seroquel for sleep is the best it can get.
That’s good. I’m on 50mg of it for sleep. It works well.
Hmmm now my sleep is very bad. But I don’t feel psychotic. That is strange
What were you on before @anon55055794?
100 then 50 and now 25 mg.
Yeah, COULD be why you’re not sleeping. But, then again, maybe not. Doesn’t seem to make much of a difference with me. Sometimes I sleep when taking my Seroquel, other times I don’t.
so nice
i m talking very high dose of ur serquel that
if i reach to take ur dose i will consider myself not taking meds at all
thats so great
you did very good job in fact :)))
Had to get a rise of 100 mg Qutiapine as protection against psychosis so now I’m back on 700 mgs.
Yes I want to consider myself not taking meds, because it sucks. But I will see if I can sleep
This is horrible news…you will soon be psychotic again…sad to me…you just won’t listen…most people on seroquel are in the hundreds of mgs. usually…you will just spiral out until you either finally get paranoid…psychosis causes brain damage too…
How long did it take you to go down to 25mg? I’m hoping to get there one day, but it seems to be a pretty lengthy process.
It took me a few days I think
I take 600 mg Seroquel each day (plus another psych med) and I have not slept for two days, something maybe wrong, 600 mg is really a lot
‘While 600 mg of Seroquel is within the typical dosage range for adults with schizophrenia or bipolar disorder, it is considered a relatively high dose. As with any medication, the appropriate dose of Seroquel should be determined by a healthcare professional based on the individual’s specific needs and response to the medication.’
That’s pretty fast. My psychiatrist is having me go down 50mg each 3 months or so.
I don’t want to say you’ll surely go psychotic like the other guy, but I got pretty messed up when I quit meds way too quickly. What got me mad about it is that they used the fact I had symptoms on that occasion to make an argument I was surely ill when I’m pretty sure it was mostly due to withdrawals. In my opinion, the way to go if you think you don’t need meds is talk to your doctor and tapper off like the guidelines say to not have rebound psychosis and such.
why are they so reproachful? Everyone should decide for themselves how much medication they need. And yes, there are studies that disprove that psychosis damages the brain
@anon55055794 make sure you have time to relax
I slept for 7 hours this night. I think I will stay on 25 mg Seroquel. I surely accept that people have their free will to choose whether or not they want meds. But I think my free will was ignored by the psychiatric system. Because no one ever told me about the side effects or the withdrawal symptoms. No one told me that Zyprexa would leave me zombified for years. Being fat, depressed and apathetic.
