Is anyone else on this?
I’m so restless i can’t stay still for more than seconds at a time.
Any advice? anything that helps? I’m not able to talk to the pdoc until tomorrow and another day of this is going to be awful.

I took that drug @ 111mg per evening for 18 months, and within an hour of taking it I was debilitated by restlessness to put it lightly.
The pharmacist recommended a Beta-Blocker, but a consultant stepped in and said no and took me off them straight away and put me on Haldol…
I still have it mildly, but I take a drug called Procyclidine that hides it all away to a point.
Anyway, Latuda was a great drug for me, but it turned against me in the end
Hope this helps
Scott
thank you!
It’s ridiculous, i’m not comfortable anywhere doing anything, walking, sitting, laying, always frickin feel the need to move or stretch, it’s horrible.
I guess i’m gonna have to change meds again
I had that on Abilify, horrible. Because the drug didn’t help the psychotic symptoms either, I stopped it and was switched back to Haldol.
no side effects with haldol?
or just more tolerable ones?
Yes, emotional blunting, cognitive damage and tiredness, which I hate, but is much less pronounced in my current baby dose (1mg). With Haldol I know what I’ve got and it feels more…“clean”?? The newer meds I tried (Abilify, Zyprexa) caused the same side effects, but also a much wider range of extra side effects and withdrawals in me. I don’t like Haldol, but Abilify and Zyprexa were so bad it was not an option to continue… e.g. on the Abilify I was so psychotic and restless that I needed to stay locked up.
So, Haldol it is.
I think any med like abilify, latuda, haldol, or vraylar will cause some anxiety/restlessness. Only med that didn’t for me was Risperdone. I think invega even caused restlessness (yes, I tried that med too). Any med that helps with negatives or gives you energy probably will make you feel restless. I’ve taken a lot of different medications to help ease and stop the restlessness (too many to name), but I’m currently on propranolol.
I take latuda 80mg at night with trazodone and cogentin. I don’t feel restless on latuda but I do with haldol.
