How god’s green earth did you not get pacing and jittery side effects from taking risperidone? It’s been almost twenty years since I’ve taken it. Whew. Idk all the new aps don’t like me. I’m just curious to know.

I get pacing and jittery side effects from the old, typical AP’s. Risperdal doesn’t bother me. @roxanna

I had restlessness and akathisia on Latuda 80mg but not on Risperidone, not on Abilify and not on Zyprexa. Latuda is the only med that caused akathisia for me.

Latuda was ok. I hope you’re taking something that helps. I’m on the old fashioned perphenazine. I’m thinking of asking my pdoc to add an AP.

Abilify didnt give me akathasia. It just was hard with the negstive symptoms being very strong.

Risperidone didn’t bother me either. Seroquel was the absolute worst.

Abilify gave me Akathisia and made me jittery.
No problems with Risperdal.

Perphenazine is an AP.
I used to be on Trilafon, (perphenazine), many years ago. It made me extremely restless. I couldn’t sit or stand still for two seconds. It was horrible.

I reacted badly to risperidone for some reason. I’m better on Haldol now as far as side effects go
