@everhopeful you recommended a brand of l theanine to jimbob the other day.
Do they ship to Australia?
If not, what should I look for in a brand?

Let me do a quick check…
This is the one I recommended

It looks like they would ship to Australia but the shipping costs could be high plus you might have to pay import duties.
I would also recommend this brand (suntheanine) from this Australian website but the price is a rip off.
You could import that brand (suntheanine) from the states and pay import duties and it would probably be cheaper especially if you order a lot.

Maybe try the Australian rip off price one first to see how you get on?
Thanks for doing the research for me!
I’ll have a play around.
yeah i had read the suntheanine is most pure and been used in testing. I read it after I bought my last l theanine, next time will get it.
Thanks from an Australian too
Those caps are 150mg, how much would you recommend I take? I’m pretty skitty in the morning before work.
the recommended dose says its 600mg per day.
I doubt you will even feel anything below that
WOW that’s a lot!
Start with 150mg for a few days then take 300mg (all in one go). 150mg probably won’t do much. 300mg should definetely have an effect.
Or you could just drink green tea…
I took like 1500mg a day it literally was the biggest waste of money
I don’t understand why you didn’t feel anything to be honest. Maybe your l-theanine was bogus.
That sucks. What about sarcosine? I know it’s for a different thing but have you tried that with any effect?
What about you @everhopeful? Ever tried sarcosine?
I never tried sarcosine. There’s a tenuous link to prostrate cancer with it. It was enough to put me off it. It might be a risk it might not but I didn’t want to find out for myself.
Fair enough. I don’t have that worry so I miggt try it when I start studying this year.
