I wanted to share that I really like L-theanine. Somehow, it truly gives me a sense of calm — emotionally. It was recommended to me by my therapist/psychiatrist, who said I can safely take it (I don’t remember if up to 3 or 4 times a day), but I usually take it in the morning and evening.
I also always take omega-3 in the recommended doses, since I don’t eat fish at all.
Before bed, I’ve gotten used to taking magnesium combined with B vitamins — they come together in one capsule. I don’t notice any miracles, but it does seem to gently help me fall asleep.
I’ve heard that vitamin D is a must in my country, but I don’t really want to add another supplement — I have this mental rule of “up to 3 vitamins,” otherwise I start wondering what effect each one might have.
