Is really hard to explain. Like a wave of fear passed over me. Was really strong. Is less intense now I have shut the curtains. Have put good vibe music on too.
Is it where the thoughts of paranoia are not there but you have the feelings that usually accompany paranoid thoughts?
Yes @anon80629714!! It is that exactly! Was gonna say like I’ve smoked weed and gone straight to paranoia. Do you get the same?
I’ve experienced it yes. It’s being scared but not being able to pinpoint the reason. It maybe severe anxiety … I’d get psychical symptoms too like my heart was feeling like it was racing.
Did you have coffee or something ?
No that’s the thing - it came out of nowhere. I was sitting watching tv quite enjoying myself them suddenly it hit me. Is pretty strange.
What antipsychotic are you taking. I get the same thing with risperidone consta.
Depixol depot and seroquel.
Have you ever tried Abilify? That stops it happening to me.
Tried abilify but it didn’t work out for me.
Jimbob, I’m just curious - do you listen to music on headphones?
Yeah. Like headphones .why do you ask?
Oh I was just curious if they help out. I listen to music on headphones a lot too. They help out with distracting me from my voices.
Same here. Is particularly useful if my fan is on because I hear voices coming out of the white noise.
That’s good thinking with having the fan on. I always have my radio on at a reasonable volume. I can’t stand white noise.
