I don’t want to be petty and blame Risperdone for all my problems, nor do I want to be selfish and say it should be illegal. It had helped a lot of people.
But I had a lot of negatives and a lot of side effects.
I purely took it because it was the only affordable option.
I DO wish it was illegal to jack up the prices of medicines so much that only the crappiest options are affordable for people of low incomes.
The side effects I had are well known. Which means lots of people have had them.
Yet, whoever decides medicine prices decided this was all people like me deserved.
I am disgusted by the way medicines are treated by shareholders and big medicine companies.
Anyways.
Goodbye to:
heart palpitations
rash on thigh and butt that gets scratched until it bleeds twice a day
Lots of negatives here on 5mg risperidone but no other side effects and no positives so I am kinda happy with it. I tried Abilify, Latuda, Quetiapine, Zyprexa and Risperidone. My dr told me next is Clozapine, I said no thanks lol
Hi I have also thought about trying asenapine. My current psychiatrist said that saphris let’s people keep their creativity. Does it make you drowsy at all after you take it at night? I had some of those side effects on risperidone also but it was the most effective med for positives.
I don’t want to play up what Risperidone did to me 25 years ago. I just want to say that it didn’t work and caused lots of side effects. I was on 16 mg risperdone by mouth. It’s said by lots of users of Saphris that It’s a very gentle mood lifting antipsychotics that does not destroy your creativity or ability to feel and very soon this meds will go generic. It also doesn’t raise prolactin to the same degree as risperidone.
Well if its your neighbours, theres nothing mallicious about it, its your voices making you think what your neighbours are saying actually. The other way around
