Joker 2019

So I have been ripping apart the web to find the new Joker flick, and I stumbled upon a 5 min clip (probably ripped from the screening in Venice)

I obviously cant show it here.

I love it. The acting is phenomenal.

There will be backlashes on it though.

Joaquin’s Joker comes off as flamboyant; not your everyday typical psycho, but still psycho in a way.

Cant wait for this film, argh.

Joaquin’s representation of Joker is pretty much if Freddie Mercury was a psychopathic killer.

I actually feel Joquin Phoenix is a talented actor. More so than Jared Leto and perhaps (dare I say) Heath Ledger. Phoenix has a broader acting range and Inthink he will do angood job representing the Joker character. Sometimes I still dislike him in movies over his role as emperor Comodus (was it that) in The Gladiator. He did such a good bad guy role there. Almost on par with King Joffrey in Game of Thrones.

For the brief 5 minutes that I saw, it was very well performed.

What I liked about it was for Joaquin it sort of seemed natural for him; whereas Ledger and Leto was more forced in a way.

So far, I like him the best as the Joker. More so than Ledger. And I know many people will disagree once they see the film.

I would say Pheonix is a more talented actor than Heath Ledger, let’s not forget that Heath Ledgers performance as the Joker was a total dark horse. No one expected him to do what he did with that role. He gave it his all and it took everything from him.

If he was still alive and had more time to get bigger roles, I think he would be considered more talented than Phoenix, but going off of what he did prior to the Dark Knight, I have to say Pheonix just has a better history of good acting. Ledger was good, not great, in every role prior to the Joker.

Also, Leto was great in Requiem for a Dream, but I havent liked many of his other movies. I’m still excited for the Morbius movie coming out, though.

No thanks. And please don’t take kids to it.

The only one to do that so far has been Jared Leto and I’m going back to Cesar Romero. Expecting to like the Phoenix version as he never delivers anything less than perfection.

Well there are some scenes in trailer that make me think it’s just gonna be plain old real life tragedy that drives him crazy.
