Looks too intense for me
I hope the movie is good. It doesn’t really feel like the joker, it just feels like a story about a clown with mental illness.
I’m going to withhold judgment until I see it this fall. I’m just trying not to get my hopes up too terribly much.
I was thinking I’d watch the Joker movie and Venom around Christmas. Probably shouldn’t have that stuff in my head floating around.
Nothing in the trailer looks like he is some type of mastermind. I will be interested in seeing that transition.
DC films are normally quite bad in my opinion.
Looks good, he is a good actor, now if they just bring back Christian bale as batman.
The new shazam was brilliant. Besides, the joker isnt in the shared universe as the rest of the DC. It’s a standalone and I think Martin Scorsese is involved with this Joker film, so it shouldn’t be bad. Crime films and suspense is what Scorsese does best.
Nolan’s Batman trilogy was amazing. Heath Ledgers joker was incredible. Unfortunately everyone is going to compare this joker to Ledger’s and I dont think they’ll be comparable. I think this is going to be a different take on the joker.
Ledger should be the last joker…even though he lived in the last film before he died…I am not interested in any more joker roles in the series…
I’m not sure if I want to see the joker film. I was disappointed with Jared leto’s joker in suicide squad. Margot Robbie was great though as Harley Quinn.
I don’t know Joaquin Phoenix is normally a good actor. In the original comics joker had no back story and was meant to be a mystery that’s what made heath ledger’s joker so great. You had no idea what all was going on in his head or why he was terrorizing Gotham
