My mom and I are doing a 6 week challenge where we cut sugar, dairy, grains, processed foods, and fried foods from our diet. We also added protein shakes and supplements that the company sponsoring the challenge sells. Not only have I lost the weight I have more energy and feel clearer, even my mood feels really good. We have had times where we cheated a little, but overall we’re pretty strict about it.
After being on Saphris for a month I gained 37 lbs which really made me depressed because I’m already considered morbidly obese. These psych meds made me gain a lot of weight. It feels really good though to now be losing it.
Even though the challenge is only 6 weeks I’m going to continue to do it afterwards.

I am cutting down too but at certain times of month in crave a lot sugar and it’s hard but I am trying
I joined the gym also and I go for a workout first thing every morning
@everhopeful Good luck with your diet! @shellys12 Thanks! Sugar is a hard one for me as well. That’s awesome you joined the gym!! Before it got really cold I was taking daily walks with my puppy. It’s hard for me to exercise as I’m very out of shape. Keep it up though!!
Thanks!! I haven’t posted much for awhile because I got a little paranoid. Some jobs I’m looking into require a security clearance and I was worried they would track me to this site. I’m coming to see that probably isn’t possible. I hope you are well!
