So far I’ve been off it for ½ a day.
I’m experiencing severe withdrawals already. It’s just the same as giving up cigarettes from what I remember.
I have nicotine lozenges in case I need them.
I keep you guys posted…

Good luck!
I am not that brave.
Let us know how it goes!
Keep it up. I never thought I could quit but I did and I smoked cigs then vaped which made it easier to quit. vaped about 5 years decreasing the nicotine levels gradually.
Good luck!

We just decided to quit nicotine same day… @everhopeful
Today I smoked 5 cigs (I promised myself not to smoke more than 8), but I don’t see the point of smoking anymore…
Let’s see if we make it.
Btw I have heard the comparison between this and removing a bandaid fast or slow
Best of luck with it too @dreamer54
Good for you @everhopeful!
Good luck with it all and don’t forget to drink plenty of water!
You got this sir! Good luck.
Good luck! I hope to do this someday, I just switched from cigarettes to vape.
Into day 2 now.
I had a nicotine lozenge instead of my morning vape.
The withdrawal is pretty intense.
It looks like giving up vaping is no different to giving up cigarettes, physically.
Psychologically it does seem a bit easier for some reason.
All the best in your endeavour mate. Quitting nicotine is a big, big deal.
When I quit sub ohm vaping I would mimic the slow deep straight to lung breaths I did. I found these breathing exercises helped
great work dude. You should be proud of your accomplishment!
Best of luck to both @everhopeful and @dreamer54 You’ll be so glad you did it. Being a slave to nicotine is no fun. I’m proud of your courage.
Congrats, y’all!!! I can’t imagine how hard that is.
Day 3. I had a nicotine lozenge instead of my morning vape again.
I can confirm that this is just as bad as giving up cigarettes from a physical withdrawal point of view.
But psychologically it’s definitely easier for some strange reason. So that definitely helps.
psychologically nicotine was harder for me to give up than ciagrettes. i can justify the dangers of cigarettes much more than nicotine pouches, vapes…stuff like that. and i hate the way cigarettes taste. im starting to wonder if nicotine supplementation is more addicting. i quit smoking before and stayed away for a couple years. i havent been able to quit nicotine since i started using it…im gonna try in a few days tho.
the easiest way for me to quit was to wear a nicotine patch. and wear it until all the cravings are gone. then lower the dose of it and repeat.
How is it going @everhopeful ?
I transitioned from 2 packs of ciggs a day to vaping 3 months ago.
Then I quit vaping about 2 weeks ago.
The worst withdrawal symptom is that I gained 10 pounds. Still, I feel like eating all the time, since there is nothing to do otherwise.
