I've been talking taurine and have more of a desire to be sociable

I tried another brand (the “now” brand) and it gave me pains in my neck. No such problems with this brand.

I take 2000mg a day, as it’s not really recommend to take more.

Glad to hear it’s working for you. I’m pretty sure I registered that it calmed my mind and even helped sleep when I took it the first time.

For now I’m taking 500mg and I think it’s helpfull.

I’ve suddenly developed restless leg syndrome. It might be due to the taurine. I’ll quit taking the taurine and see if it goes away.

You seem to take a lot of supplements to help with your SZ. Would you mind posting a list of what you take? I’d like to take klonopin less and go the supplement route.

L-theanine 750mg a day in 3 doses throughout the day.

If I wasn’t taking those supplements, then I’d be taking benzos for sure. In fact I was taking benzos until I switched to the supplements.

I ordered beta alanine and ltheanine from Amazon last night just to try it out and skip klonopin for awhile. Just took 200mg ltheanine and 3 grams of beta alanine.

So far I haven’t really seen any results but the beta alanine made me very itchy

3 grams of beta alanine is a lot. I take 1500mg max. But it has a dramatic calming effect on me. Others here have tried it and it didn’t work for them. It did work for one person though.

Ah okay I’ll take 1500mg next time the jar said one scoop which is 3 grams

Also 200mg of L-theanine is a low dose. Try 400mg in one go next time.

Beta alanine lasts about 9 hours for me.
