It’s getting hard to sleep again

I’m starting to realize a pattern, I go a few months if I’m lucky with a regular sleep schedule then I got back to days without sleep, or sleeping 4 hours during the day and wide awake at night. But when the sleep disorder starts to happen I start seeing my psychosis symptoms start coming back more frequently. Then things start to get real bad and I end up relapsing in my mental recovery.

Any help or advice?

I’ve only slept every other night for the past 6 days :frowning:

Don’t have any tips but you’re not alone. My family is trying to turn me on to relaxing YouTube videos like waterfall noises or rain, I can’t tell if it’s helping or not.

Yeah my mom tried doing the same for me but it honestly didn’t work. I’ve tried meditation but it’s not working either. My voices were starting to get loud so I put headphones on

I go the same but half the time im like, why do i need to get up early anyways not like i work lol. At the same time i feel extra groggy when i wake up and more derealized. For me in rotates.

Tho with getting injections i have to get up every couple of weeks at a certain time.

I have some sleeping pills, they dont work that well.

Same here. Sometimes I can be up for days and not sleep…it scares me.

I don’t want to go back to being a day sleeper.

Insomnia is the biggest predictor of psychosis for me, and it takes a lot to help it. Can you call your doctor? The last time I was starting to destabilize, I had to take 10mg of haldol, 1mg of ativan, a benadryl, and a melatonin gummy before I could sleep (my doctor okayed it). Hopefully your doctor can figure out a way to get you to sleep.

You just reminded me that a ER dr. prescribed me 2 Ativans a few months ago! Thank you so so much! I’m going to look for them and take one!
