Is this a tactile hallucination?

I’m constantly agitated and it feels in my back like someone putting their fingernails down a chalk board (the sound of how it feels) and I feel paralysed. If that makes sense?

When I took some resperidone it helped ease it a little so I’m just wondering what it is?

Also when I shower or bathe it feels like the water is piercing my skin.

That doesn’t sound pleasant. Keep taking your prescribed meds though and I hope it gets better for you.

It does sound like a tactile hallucination. Sounds quite scary. What helped me is trying to not put any weight on the experience.

Could be, mine are needles injecting me with drugs or taking blood!

I find it easier than I used to as I talked to my therapist about it and did work for needle phobia.

It gets worse around the time of my yearly blood test!

I’m sorry. That sounds very unpleasant. I hope it goes away soon.

Before calling it a tactile hallucination I would see a doctor to rule out medical causes for this. Better safe than sorry.
