I heard they have a cure for schizophrenia but…
The pharmacies can’t make any money. There’s a cure for everything but…money money money money
No - thats a conspiracy theory.
There is lots of money in a cure for schizophrenia if it ever happens. But given the complexity - its not going to be easy.
I don’t know if you’d call it a cure really.
If someone was causing it would you call it a cure?
I know it’s someone causing it, they showed me, numerous external “symptoms” have happened over the years.
In theory though this thing called schizophrenia doesn’t need to happen. How to stop them though right?
External things, not just random voices and delusions and hallucinations, external and physical things are happening in my case.
I saw a video on medical research, and you would be absolutely blown away what it takes to even go after a cure, or a potential cure, we are talking billions of dollars, and so many hoops to jump through, and even then the drugs would be so expensive no one could afford them.
In the long run the amount of money lost to treating us meds hospital etc. Then add taxes lost due to many of us not working etc etc. A noble peace prize most likely to the one one who finds the cure. A noble peace prize would in the long run give fame and fortune outweighing a few percent of the population using one particular med made by the med company. Just wouldn’t be feasible or practicable to keep it a secret.
& some say there always has been a cure -
Read Dante’s Cure by Daniel Dorman & look up the story of Cathy Penney, who was totally cured of catatonic/severe schizophrenia -
There are countless of these stories out there. It is continually denied, ignored & suppressed - For who knows what exact reasons? Unfortunately i think it will take hundreds more years before these things are fully acknowledged & these approaches are used as the primary treatment. Currently all this area is almost universally denied & ridiculed.
In the words of probably the greatest psychiatrist/psychologist & pioneer of the mind/psyche that has ever lived, this was Jung’s life conclusion to the subject -
“I have now, after long practical experience, come to hold the view that the psychogenic causation of the disease is more probable than the toxic [physico-chemical] causation. There are a number of mild and ephemeral but manifestly schizophrenic illnesses - quite apart from the even more common latent psychoses - which begin purely psychogenically, run an equally psychological course (aside from certain presumably toxic nuances) and can be completely cured by a purely psychotherapeutic procedure. I have seen this even in severe cases”.
Carl Jung
Because he was the greatest he had to say it? I doubt he believed it.
No - That’s a conspiracy theory.
There are many stories of him curing his patients. & many after him who have cured people. i have no doubt he was being totally sincere in what he said.
It doesn’t matter - Whatever the truth of it all & these areas won’t be openly acknowledged for hundreds more years. There is a dominant & powerful paradigm that denotes how everyone has to see mental illness & schizophrenia that can’t be challenged nor questioned - & that will continue.
And thats what they remain - just stories.
Stories are just annecdotal evidence - and perhaps 20% of people with schizophrenia get better all by themselves - so perhaps these “stories” are just the 20% of the patients who would have gotten better if they were taking sugar pills.
Stories are completely unreliable. Thats why we have double blind, placebo controlled studies. Because the are much, much, much more reliable.
If you want proof of a cure or therapy for schizophrenia - look for the double blind, placebo controlled studies done by independent academic institutions. Untill then, just ignore the stories because thats all they are.
The plural of anecdote isn’t ‘evidence’. That’s something I heard and think is true.
no till now there is no complete cure for sz, we can keep it under control by taking appropriate med as advised by pdocs. Our brain is most complicated organ in our body. there is a lot of reason, genetic, environmental stress, trauma can trigger it at any age of life. Like sz there are several others bipolar, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s(old age, aging related) all are brain disorder, still are incurable. But serious research are going on in different countries and hopefully within a decade there may be some solution.

First of all you have to have an actual disease and know what causes it to cure it and thus far there is NO such thing as “schizophrenia The Disease”. For over three hundred years the establishment (who ever they are other than people grappling for authority and money) have made it there utmost effort since the enlightenment to find a physical cause of schizophrenia. They have done everything from remove stomaches, various tortures (from insulin shock therapy, to electroshock, to lobotomies and blood letting) to today, intoxicating individuals with chemicals to shut off parts and chemically “bandage” the brain to vary degrees of success and\or sedate a person to feeble mindedness. They have done all of this with the idea that it must be a material cause, because like Madonna sang in the 80s, “We are living in a material world and I am a material girl”.
In reality the exact cause is unknown, it may be one issue or many issues working in tandem depending on the person. What is clear though is that through out this history some things have improved the chances of full recovery for a majority (60 to 70% of those with the condition). They are as follows:
First and foremost a person be able to take refuge from the day to day struggle of survival, preferably in an environment that is focused on recovery. No drugs should be used unless as a last resort (to suppress consistent and persistent homicidal or suicidal acts). The person suffering should have quality food to eat and plenty of exercise. Thorough medical exam to eliminate any possible biological causes that can be tested for or any intoxications. No Alcohol, cigarettes, or illicit drugs. Attendants in that setting should be open, minded, gentle, compassionate and by all means “be with” the person suffering. The attendants should not use coercion or force. The suffer should be able to come and go as they please.
Additionally, The suffer should attend (but not be forced to) talk therapy sessions where in open dialogue happens, no secrets that the therapist (or his or her handlers) keeps and no secrets that the suffer keeps. This dialogue should be free of punishment and should be only concerned with dialogue and reasoning out of the exact nature of the suffering and how to resolve it. The therapist should be open minded and well versed in a wide range of philosophical, social, poltical, paranormal, spiritual, and religious topics with as little bias as possible. The suffer and therapist should try to reason through and cast light on truths, subjective or objective, which will assist the sufferer in his or her recovery … a true scientist and “doctor” in other words.
Finally, the aim of the refuge is not to profit, but provide all of the above in a reasonably cost effective and safe manner. The aim of the refuge is not to create a better “consumer” or “worker” or “student” or “patient” but a better human being, one that is capable of providing this sort of help to others, in what ever capacity that person choses as his or her’s life’s work.
In my experience and research of other testimony and studies, the above is the best treatment for those that experience psychosis (especially first time experiences) or crisis of any kind.
This IS ALL I HAVE BEEN SEEKING SINCE MY PROBLEMS FIRST DEVELOPED and so far have not obtained. What about you? To me, this is common sense and well testified to. To find the sources of my perscriptions for myself and my brothers and sisters with this condition. Read my list of sources for these ideas on my blog … https://mrlister68.wordpress.com/
I have been dealing with psychosis for 13 years, only given drugs, and now I have tardive dyskensia, anxiety, COPD, flirtations with alcohol demons, and an inability to work a full time job and support myself. This is “Quallity Care?” of the least fortunate, us who have a problem that only we the brave have to deal with ? My fight is running out kids. If we don’t demand it as a group and attend to the hearts of those who care for us, and educate ourselves and those that seemingly have to much control over us, its not going to happen. They are already drugging toddlers and children, when are you going to do the research, when are you going to speak up for what you really need my friends? I am HERE and in the doctor’s office, and in front of the social worker. Those that have ears will hear.
I read some of that lister but a diseased brain will follow suit drinking doping other addictions. You’ve been here a while are you paying attention or stuck in your own train of thought.?
@mister_lister i like you. I wish you the best in your recovery and your future

Yea, we’re just blobs of meat. Consciousness/the mind is an illusion of the brain & we live in a dead Universe.
Nothing exists other than physical matter, & 100 years of quantum/particle physics that states everything is energy is just woo woo nonsense - Nothing exists other than what is perceived by the human 5 senses.
We need better drugs for our brain diseases & some genetic reprogramming therapy.
Don’t forget that money is God.
