Im afraid to take vraylar and olanzapine together because they are two different antispychotics. Do you guys take more than one ap and function fine?
I take Seroquel and Geodon. It’s pretty common to take multiple APs.
It is pretty common. I take three APs and one AD.
I’m on several medications, you will need to be pretty keen on yourself and see if you feel any side effects, and keep in touch with your doctor.
That being said, just because there are more then one, doesn’t mean they will not work well together. I’ve been on several aps and am on a depression medicine and a anxiety medicine that I really only take because I need it for its use against akathesia.
Some of these medicines work especially well together and are used together for the very reason that they compliment eachother well.
Your doctor is doing the best they can, and medicine is messy its the “practice” of medicine, you gotta keep trying till you get the good/great result you’re hoping for.
In the case of mental health medication that can mean its pretty tough early on to keep your optimism, but over time you’ll find stuff that works pretty well I hope.
I take 4.5mg Vraylar and 5mg Olanzapine
They want to up the Olanzapine dose again
Everyone is different. For some people they only need 1 medication, and for others they may need more. Personally i take 2 anti-psychotics, a mood stabiliser and 1 anti-depressant. This combination works best for him.
I was always taking 2 or 3 aps at the same time.
No problem
I’m on olanzapine 20mg and vraylar 1.5mg. You should be fine!
Thats exactly what i take now.
Listen to your doctor @anon36467691
