Hi,

Can you take 2 different medications at the same time other than olanzapine , we’re looking at mproving panic attacks agrophobia and nervousness which olanzapine hasnt seemed to help with that much

Yes you can. I take 2 APs and 7 other meds. My APs are rexulti and vyarlar. Ive tried cutting back my meds, but something always happens, like self harm urges or suicide ideation or delusions. Im stable so im staying at this regimen.

Sure.
I was on 3 different antipsychotics for 12 years but now I’m on two and they really help me.

That more the rule than the exception that us Schizophrenics are on that amount of meds.

I take asenapine (Saphris), Citalopram (Celexa) and olanzapine (Zyprexa). I also take non-psychiatric meds.

I’m on paxil, olanzapine and vraylar!

I take 2 antipsychotics, risperidone and lurasidone works well for me. It’s not uncommon to be on more than 1 med.

I know you didnt ask me, lol, but im taking vraylar too. The first couple of weeks i felt restless, but now i just have more energy throughout the day, a normal amount not excessive. I can get more done, im less anxious so i can go out more, and its controlling my positive and negative symptoms well. I really like it. Im at 3mg

It’s good. It helps with negatives but causes heartburn and occasional insomnia.

The heartburn is really annoying.

Ahhh I read it’s a less common side effect
Everyone is different
I’ll only know when I try what I’ll have as side effect
Hopefully none lol

The company that made Vraylar tried to get it approved for the indication negative symptoms but failed to prove so. None of the antipsychotics the FDA has approved are approved for negative symptoms.

Im on abilify and take olanzapine as needed. Also Depakote for mood and buspirone for anxiety.

I have been on Amisulprid and Mirtazapine together with Olanzapin (Zyprexa), of course it was perfectly functioning for some years. So, yes, I can take 2 different medications at the same time other than Olanzapine
