i wonder would i got schizophrenic if i had not been misdiagnoised as depression and start taking any psychiatric drugs at first (anti depressant /benzo) , but i would say my psychosis is mostly induced by my excessive porn consuming/masturbtion during my high school time /the few years after i got my first wrong diagnosis, they r like weeds
now i am really a crazy guy , have to hang on to meds
My first diagnosis was ADHD because anyone who couldn’t adapt to society got that diagnosis at that time.
It was a bandaid diagnosis and it made it easy for the psychs because they didn’t have to check for environmental factors or other ailments.
Once I moved to a place with proper healthcare, that diagnosis was overturned.
A breakdown of serious depression but with some hindsight there was a fair bit of paranoia even back then.
No, my first diagnosis is anxiety.
My first diagnosis was bipolar.
My first was insomnia, then PTSD>anxiety> psychotic depression>schizophrenia
Major depressive disorder. Bipolar.
Psychotic depression was the first one. It went to bipolar then to sza. But tbh at my first admission I was given the psychosis nos label. Was a total surprise to me. I didn’t see anything wrong with telling them I was dead.

Drug induced psychosis and then Schizophrenia because it happened again without drugs
My first diagnosis was Psychotic Depression. Then the depression resolved with the antidepressants but the psychosis didn’t, so then it progressed to Schizophrenia and Major Depression.
I was first diagnosed with a yeast allergy, then ADD before it became apparent I had voices in my head.
i do really think that those psychiatric drugs do contriubute to the latter development of psychosis / the early stage of psychosis have been misdiagnosed by many pdoc as other illness that are much less severe.
I first saw a pdoc in the autumn of 1973. My first hospitalisation was May 1975. Some time after that the schizophrenia dx was given.
Whether I had another dx between autumn 1973 to when the sz dx was given I don’t know .
why u went to a pdoc at the beginning? and do you think u forget what happened between 1973 and 1975? and have u taken any meds from 1973 or u only taking med when u was first admitted to the hospital?
I went because I was struggling at my public school(British boarding). I was put on Anafranil . A dx was never mentioned to me .
