@anon83141956 i saw you like going on bus rides too. I love bus rides more than the destination. I have a bus pass.
Is it ok to just sit on random bus rides? I totally find it therapeutic

Nice hobby. Fdffff.
I didn’t know you did it too, Jimbob
Yea I like feeling like I’m not always in my room basically
And being in the presence of people without talking to them much.
I might go on a bus ride tomorrow.
Your inspiring me.
Good idea it’s best when the skies are clear
Cool. I’ll look out for clear skies.
The bus is generally an unsafe place where I’m from. That does sound like fun though.
I love bus rides! For some reason they feel so much safer than car rides.
In my city veterans can ride the bus for free. I should take advantage of that!
God Jim, if you knew how I hate bus trips.
I take 10 to 15 minutes to get to college when I go on a car, if I take the bus I need 40 to 50 minutes to arrive, plus the waiting time for the bus. Now imagine doing it twice to get there and arrive home, I’m almost 2 hours on a bus plus the wait, sometimes I didn’t get the 1st bus because it was full. Standing for almost an hour or more is exhausting.
I don’t think it’s weird. If you get out of the house and enjoy it then why not?
Weird would be if you rode on the roof of the bus.
I prefer our light rail system when it’s not crowded. It’s fast and has it’s own rails that go directly where you want to go.
I love taking the bus too. Just sitting back watching the city, people pass by. I love in some European cities go on the honor system. In the US i panick trying to get my dollar into the machine while everyone waits cause the bus won’t move til you pay.
Someone puked on me the last time I rode a bus. Then I got to work and was laid off. Buses are bad juju, now I drive, walk or Uber.
Yesterday someone started smoking on the upper deck of the bus, I was outraged. Had to move downstairs. Hate it when people smell of weed on the bus. That’s even worse
@anon83141956 are you in England? We don’t have double decker buses here in Canada
Yep, England
I’m not a fan of buses but I do catch trains a lot. I do not mind a train ride but find buses from past experience aren’t the best.
I was taking the bus to work years ago. We reached an intersection and a car ran a red light or something and t-boned us. Exactly right beneath where I was sitting.
I took the bus to the same job for three years. About an hour and a half ride one-way. I knew most of the bus drivers and on the last stretch before my job it was almost always just the driver, me and my roommate.
The driver used to stop every morning at McDonalds to use the restroom and get a cup of coffee and I used to get off and grab a hamburger and be back before the driver. The guy was cool, seemed like a decent guy. He told us one day that he was retiring very soon so me and my roommate chipped in and bought him a $15.00 gift certificate to McDonalds.
I didn’t have a lot of money back then, this was like 1994 and he was one of those rare people you meet in life who you look back and wished you had been nicer too. If I had another chance I would have given him more.
He was just a quiet and unassuming guy and the last stop was half-way down a street but he always let us off at the corner before that even though there was no bus stop there to save us from having to backtrack.
Great story @77nick77 !!
