The only time masturbation gets to be a problem is if:
- you are feeling impulses to do it in places that are not private
- you do it even when you feel no desire
- you have pain/injuries from doing it too much and still want to keep going
- you are choosing masturbation over other enjoyable activities consistently
I have heard from a lot of people that after the sexual dysfunction goes away, the first few months they are much more “in the mood” than they had been previously.

Ever since I was put on 1.5mg clonazepam about 9 months ago it’s dampened my sex drive, I hate that, but I can’t sleep with out it, and sleep is more important. I really want my insomnia to go away so I can wean myself off clonazepam and get back to normal. This is the first med I’ve been on that has affected my sexual health from what it always was.
