hi everyone.is anyone 1 or 2 mg risperdal here?what is the side effect do you encounter.

I take 1mg of Risperidone every night. I am sort of tired during the day, slightly foggy and about 10-15 pounds over my pre-MI weight.

1 to 2mg is a very low dose. If you can get away with that, good for you! They tried me on higher doses (up to 4mg) and I had unbearable side effects. Dose makes a difference.

thank you for reply.i m already on a drug that equal to 2 mg risperdal.and i feel very good.so i think i will be ok 1mg.

I used to be on 1 mg I think? Maybe I was on 2? It was one of those I don’t remember. I was gaining about 10 lbs a month, orgasm became incredibly difficult and was often impossible, and I eventually started lactating and had to go off of it because of that. (If you’re a guy you won’t have to worry about that…I heard it can cause guys to get boobs though…)

really.even 1mg risperdal do that?i already gynecomasty surgery so i don t mind it.

It’s different for everyone. Actually risperdal was my favorite antipsychotic because it was the only one that didn’t give me hellish anxiety.

thats really good.because abilify gave me really bad anxiety.so i quit.

Yeah I quit abilify for that reason too. You’ll probably like risperdal! Good luck!!
