Which dose are you on?
I’m currently on 4mg but I might ask my psychiatrist to increase the Risperdal dose to 5mg to help treat my mood cycling.
So yeah if you were ever on Risperdal or currently on Risperdal, what dose were/are you on?
If you ever were taking 5mg or over, what side effects did you have if any?
I took risperidone 5 years ago i was at 3 mg but i couod still hear people talking about me when in public, paranoia ect
I’d been on Risperidone 1 mg daily many years ago. Despite that it was a low dose I sufferred from a bunch of side effects such as weight gain, daytime somnlence, high prolacting level, blurry vision, memory loss.
I was on risperidone 4 mg but I’ve been on higher doses. I remember alittle cognitive issues and I was hungry.
I was on 16 mgs of Risperidone in 1995. It didn’t work on me.
I took 12 mg of it I believe when I was in the hospital. No side effects. It just wasn’t as effective as olanzapine for me.
I take 6mg. No side effects.
5mg I had daytime lethargy and had increased risk of OCG. Anything above that dose would give me a serious side effect(nose bleed).
I’m only on 1 mg but it’s because I’m also on 20 mg of olanzapine (Zyprexa).
Risperidone gave me restless legs and a hard-off!
Run away from that drug as fast as you can!
Personally Risperdal killed my sex drive

You are sensitive to meds.
I’ve been on 5mg of Risperadone and I found I had head rushes and was more tired.
I’m currently on 3mg daily.
Yes zoa if I raise my dose I was planning to go to 4.5mg first for a while
