Is anybody's sleep pattern not normal

Is anybody’s sleep pattern not normal and you are stuck like that? I sleep during the day and at night. I sleep around 3 hours at night, and then I sleep around 3 hours during the day.

I do the same thing but more hours than you. My sleep pattern are very erratic.

I sleep really regularly. Even if having a bad night I set the alarm and wake up same time. I’m a big believer in routine. Sometimes I’m still sedated and I’ll have a 20 minute nap during day depending on how I’m doing but still.

Keep a good routine. Go to bed same time every night. Wake up same time etc. It really helps me function and improve.

I go to bed at irregular hours, anything from 10pm to 3am, but I usually get up around 7 monday-friday.
During weekends I tend to let loose and catch up on sleep and just wake up whenever my body feels like it, usually around 11am.

The problem is, is that I don’t have any reason to wake up for. I don’t have enough to do. So I’m content with my sleeping pattern for the time being. Yeah, I think you are right…but only if you have enough to do.

I wake up at least once or twice every night due to hunger. Or Idk what…

More the reason to start an alarm! Get in routine and add exercise. It really will make a huge difference to you.

Take the pills same time everyday to get your body in the routine and set an alarm…set it for before you’ll regularly wake up and get up. No snooze or sleeping in. Get up and do some exercise at least to start!

Yeah, I usually go to sleep and sleep the amounts of time, whatever my body feels like.

Yeah, I felt better when I exercised. I haven’t exercised in a month, because I’m too depressed.

Without meds I would be sleeping all day and up all night.

I sleep 8-9h a night and coffee helps me not nap during the day. At night I wake up 1-2 times to vape nicotine and to drink water, my throat gets dry.

My sleep patterns seem related to the weather and seasons. Lately I can’t sleep; since October 1st, also having the sleep paralysis again. But I have had it happen so many times it does not even bother me anymore. October is like a mental reset for me. I reset. My dreams change, my body changes, the seasons change. And I am often susceptible to more stress and depression.

I stay up all night and sleep during the day I hate it but its so hard to fix

My sleep tends to be very disrupted

My sleep pattern changed since January this year. Sometimes I can sleep for two or three hours at night and couple hours on day time. And I have days where I just can sleep every second day.

My sleep meds and my psychosis meds got increased but it hasn’t helped.

I go to bed early but don’t fall asleep till midnight. Then I’m up around 7 but don’t get out of bed till 10am. I don’t need as much sleep as I used to. When I got out of the hospital I slept all day

I started having sleep problems after I switched to Abilify. At night I might sleep three hours then get up. Sometimes I can get back to sleep, other times not. I didn’t sleep any last night, and I’m still awake.

Can’t you sleep even if you take some meds for it? @anon54988740

I’m not taking anything for the sleep issues. I just started Abilify 05/2020, and I’ve been living with it. Sometimes I’ll sleep better at night. Sometimes I’ll sleep during the day. It’s not always three hours a night.
