Sleeping patterns

I don’t mind if my sleeping patterns are off. When I stay up late it seems peaceful, comforting and soothing and calming. I guess because everybody is sleeping. I also stay awake during the day. My sleeping pattern changes a lot, but most of the time I stay up late and wake up around 12 noon. Also when I stay up during the day it makes me want to do something constructive more and I don’t have a job.

Whatever your sleep schedule is, it really is best for us to keep a consistent routine when it comes to sleeping/waking times.

I’m currently making a dramatic shift in my sleep pattern for work, and it kinda sucks, but I know I’ll get used to it.

For the past four months, other than the couple weeks I was unemployed, I’ve been starting work at 6 a.m., going to bed way early. Today was the last day of that; tomorrow I switch to the midnight shift, and I’m not looking forward to it.

This evening I slept a few hours so I could stay up all night tonight, so that I will be able to sleep during the day tomorrow. I’ve worked midnights before, though, and yeah, it can be sort of peaceful being up while people are asleep, but it can also be difficult to sleep when your neighbors are up and making noise.

I’m naturally more nocturnal and apparently have always been since I was born. I become really depressed and all around just worse off when I have to wake up early every day. Luckily for the career I want I should be able to get a later shift or even an overnight one no problem.

The thing that bothers me is I need 11 hours of sleep to feel well rested. It’s almost impossible w how my life is now to get 11 hours of sleep a night.

My sleeping pattern right now is up all night and sleep all day. And I don’t like it one bit.

I can’t stay up late or I get symptoms. I like to go to bed at 8 but my wife wants me to stay up till 930 to spend time with her and the dogs.

Last night I couldn’t fall asleep until about midnight and I am hurting today. I am really tired. I get up at 615 to get to work on time. Saw a new nurse practitioner today and she was pretty cool and filled all my scripts with no problems.

I am going to turn my alarm off tonight and not go to work tomorrow and sleep in. I have an interview at 130 at the airport tomorrow for an Airport Compliance Coordinator. The pay is a little better than mechanic work so I will see how it goes. And I had to drop my wife’s Thunderbird off at the Ford dealership because she backed into a telephone pole and broke the mirror off. They are supposed to have the part at 8 am so I would have to leave work early again anyway so I am just not going to go. .
