Some work, some don’t. Some cause more anxiety. Depends on you. But ask your doctor about a beta blocker, such as Metoprolol or Propranolol. They aren’t addictive and they don’t cause the side effects that APs can cause. Even in Nepal, you’ll be able to get Metoprolol or Propranolol probably for not much money. They’re very safe drugs and your doctor will be familiar with them.

Latuda caused me TERRIBLE anxiety. Abilify hasn’t done that yet but I’m only on 10mg so who knows what will happen when/if it’s increased.

Don’t be in a huge rush to increase it. See what the minimum dose that works for you is. I’m only on 10mg.

Yes ever my difficulties now are lack of sleep and anxiety…!!
Even my Zolpidem doesn’t help my sleep…!!
i am having psychosomatic problem due to it…!!!

Yes, can be good for anxiety. The Zoloft/Seroquel combination helps synergistically. I remember the doctor that started me on this combination years ago mentioned “severe anxiety” as part of my diagnosis. The key is to find the meds that will restore the natural chemicals in the brain (neurotransmitters). Because then you will feel better and, thus, less anxious, at least to an extent.

Abilify calms me down.
But antidepressants do a good job too since some are for anxiety too.

In my opinion Antipsychotics don’t make the best anti anxiety medications.
Although certain Antipsychotics are better than others.
Out of the Atypicals, Zyprexa and Seroquel are pretty good for Anxiety.
Zyprexa is good for anxiety for me.
My experience w APs has been they tend to cause awful anxiety. So no. Antidepressants do help long term with anxiety though, and are commonly prescribed for that purpose.
