Internal conversation

Do you have a conversation going on in your head all the time? Does it stop when other people come around? Do you find it hard to concentrate? Does it just get too noisy in you head?

I have brief conversations in my head.
When other people are around, me and the others in there argue about whether it’s okay to say or think this and that about the people I’m with.

Do you ever worry that other people are going to be able to hear what your saying in your head? Like you’re saying it out loud.

Every night I go to sleep with a conversation going on in my head. Is that normal? Do normal people have that? It’s getting on my nerves and I don’t know if it’s normal or not.

Sz is apart of it. Are you diagnosed with anything. Go to pdoc

well I have sza but I take all kinds of meds. Is that conversation an auditory hallucination or just normal?

A conversation between you and someone else? Or do you feel you’re eavesdropping on another conversation.

I sometimes worry that the things being said in my head will show in my behavior, and that people will know somehow.

A conversation between me and someone else, usually a real person. But I do know it’s not really them. Although I do sometimes get confused on whether a conversation really happened or not. I have no control over the conversation on either side. It just goes on without me. Does that make sense? Also, I have an external “voice” that throws in unwanted thoughts to interrupt me, that’s just annoying and rude. I’m pretty sure that’s not normal.

That sounds annoying for sure. But it doesn’t sound dangerous or a major cause for concern though. But that’s just my opinion.

I have all sorts of crappy stuff going on in my head as I’m falling asleep.

so would you say that’s normal? I mean do normal people have that?

I don’t know if that particular example is normal. But an overactive brain when you’re trying to get to sleep is common I think.

Have you tried white noise like having a fan running while you’re trying to get to sleep? That might help.

It’s not real to me.thankfully.

Well this conversation goes on all day, not just while I’m sleeping. I just don’t pay it any never mind when other people are around, I think mainly because I used to be self conscience that other people could tell what was going on in my head. So I shut it out. But it goes on in the background and it gets tiring. Sometimes it nags at me to listen. And it isn’t shy around my husband, I guess I am comfortable around him or something. I’m just wondering if that’s normal or if it’s an auditory hallucination. Do other people have a conversation going on in their heads?

Oh. Not like that. Not all day. At least it’s not actual voices.

I did have a doctor ask me if I had conversations in my head once. I’m not sure why he asked.

No conversation right now. Just a song in my head: “The Main Monkey Business” by Rush. It sounds like the recording.

Now, because of my desktop’s whir, it wants to change to “Alaska” by U.K., one chord in particular, and might break into “Presto Vivace and Reprise.”

In my case i dont have hallucinations, but still quite loud and negative thoughts, which make my life harder. They make me more passive, hard to have normal and nicer thoughts etc. I am a bit paranoid that the othets will find my behaviour strange, but lately i try to not put this on my heart and to be more natural. Distraction and activity helped me, so you can try that too… the meds had their limits on me for all this, cause the point is to still have thoughts…
Take care leaf!
