I’m sorry - we can’t really do much for people who are suicidal here. All we can do is direct you to good resources - which people have done already.

Here are some more posts that you might find helpful: Generally we don’t allow suicide posts here because we can’t do anything for people directly and since we don’t really know who you are we can’t call anyone to help you, etc.

You’ve got to make the effort yourself. The important thing to realize is that many people here have gone through the same feelings before - but didn’t act on those feelings and are doing better now. You will be the same - but you need to get help.

Call or seek out help as quickly as you can.

Anyone else struggle with depression?

It’s difficult to describe how it feels when even family can’t realize what depression is like. I get depressed when people tell me I’m not trying hard enough, let alone my younger brother saying this. I took a friend’s lexapro recently and it helped so much, but I also got a lot of emotions back and it was hard to relate because I’m not used to it. I am going crazy with depression and I’m just not happy with everything. Also, I’m told not to focus on bigger ideas but focus on local and small jobs. It gets to a point where advice is not wanted. How many times have you had depression

In America I had many times but I could not talk about it and I had to go over these phases by myself, once I used Zygon International supermind technologies, once I went to the library of Emory University and copied a book about clinical psychiatry and intervention methods, I just could not tell anybody due to many reasons. In 1989 at JFK I purchased Donald Trump’s book ‘Depression’ and some people laughed at me and they thought it was about psychological depression, but it was about economics.

How do you know you are depressed? I’ve started to avoid ppl. I eat alone at work. Hardly talk. I talk if spoken to but not otherwise. I feel slow in my head, like a slug, and have a lot of anxiety. I forget things all the time. I’m easily irritated on small things. I have an appt with my pdoc tomorrow. Should I say I might be depressed? I don’t know if this is depression or that I’m getting ill…again! I saw her 2 months ago. That time she increased my Abilify to 20 mg. But I don’t know if it’s still to low or that I need to change meds. Or is it a depression.
