I'm not fat; I'm just easy to see

Since I moved into this boarding house a year ago I have lost 30 lbs. lbs. And that’s a good thing.
I’m not on a special diet. I just quit going to 7-11 every day to buy stuff like chips or ice cream and stuff. The food is great here. We have meat dishes pretty often and Mexican food or pasta. We have vegetables almost every night.

We usually don’t eat a lot of starches or fatty foods. They do not serve dessert at meals but they give us small snacks twice a day in between meals. There’s a 7-11 store next door to us. For about 6 or 7 months I was there buying sweets like ice cream or cookies. So my weight loss had stalled but I quit buying snacks there and just last week I weighed 216 lbs, down from 245 lbs when I moved in last October.

I’ve lost about 110lbs since November and I still eat crap foods. Hardest thing atm is none of my clothes fit and can’t afford to buy new clothes. The advantage is now I can at least get off the rack at k-mart which helps a bit.

My advice is eat less and move more.

Googling a block in the US. 5 blocks is equivalent of 1km. Think you need to do way more exercise tbh.

Yes, I do. But it’s 5 blocks back home too. I also take walks around the neighborhood if I get cabin fever.

Holy sh*t!! Way to go!! And im struggling to drop 15lbs. Well im not concerned with the weight as a number, just want to be more fit. Muscle weighs more than fat so its deceiving on the scale. I really just want to look good for my Lady and fit in my old clothes again. I used to be in great shape now not working and the meds have me looking like a bowl of jello. Working every day, well most days, to get back to where i was. Great job you two!!!:yum:

I have lost some weight, maybe because I ride my bicycle a lot, tomorrow if it will be a good day, I probably ride my bicycle for 3-5 hours, it is good exercising and helps me not to gain weight, I do not have an auto and so I need to ride my bicycle to places.

i just seem to put on weight every year and idk what to do, i am trying to exercise but i guess its just hard to keep to a routine, i am about 200lbs and my diet is really bad.

I don’t eat terrible but I’ve gained about 35 lbs over the past several months from 135-170 @5’7. Its mostly fat in my belly and thighs and a little muscle. It’s really impacted my running, I am alot slower carrying all that extra weight and I get injured easier. I’ve noticed as I run my body gets used to carrying the extra weight and I can run faster, I guess because my leg muscles and tendons are growing proportionately with my body.

Girl I’m 5’2 249 lbs. don’t even worry about it.

How much do you exercise?

It’s like 55 and rainy here today

Not a good day for walks

But it’s great fun to play tackle football with your friends in the rain and mud.

You are AWESOME!!! I weighed 257lbs a year ago, I am now 211.2 lbs! I am 6’2". Everyone says I don’t look fat! Keep at it. Congrats on the home!! If my mom dies, she is my roommate and 76 yo, I may look for a group home. For now I live in a beautiful apartment with my own bedroom and my own bathroom. I also have the use of a free fitness center and indoor pool. I walk 3 miles a day. Giving up my ice cream and peanutbutter cup habit as well!!

Congratulations.

I need to do the same. I currently weigh 247 lbs, but I do eat ice cream each night.

I need to get some sort of exercise plan in place. I’m 5’ 1 and 192lbs.
