I gained a heap on risperdal and have lost/maintained when moved to zyprexa. I was a bit reluctant to try zyprexa at first because of all the negative commentary on it but it’s worked well for me.

Abilify. My weight was lowest on Abilify. I was almost 100lb less than on Zyprexa and than now on 6mg Risperdal.

Most of my friends are over weight because of the meds so I avoid this topic with them. You know we are very fragile us mental Ills so I avoid that topic because they are very vulnerable.

@columbus You have a history of reopening old threads. Please stop doing that. It is better to start a new thread than comment on a zombie one. Thank you.

Typically, we like to leave inactive threads alone and just start a new thread instead. This is different than how some forums are run, but we do it this way because it frequently upsets users to have old topics revived when they are no longer relevant. It can also be frustrating to the person who revived the thread when they don’t get a reply, because the original poster is no longer active or no longer finds the topic relevant.
