Hello I want to quit smoking … I have decreased the amount of 40 a day in half. however, I can not quit smoking. I tried the patches but it did not work. I was prescribed wellbutrin but I took risperdal 3 milligrams and clonazepam 2 to 6 milligrams which reduces the convulsive threshold. I do not know what to do … here in Argentina the public medical service is deficient. smoking brings me many problems. I would take wellbutrin but I fear seizures and spasms. I do not know what to do … I do not have enough for chantix champix. Do you think I should give the wellbutrin a chance?

I’d just switch to vaping ecigs. Then you could try to give them up if you wanted to.

Wellbutrin worked great to help me stop smoking. Good for depression too. Id suggest giving it a chance, if you havent had any seizures or spasms before you should be fine even on a high dose

After many years on Welllbutrin, I am now nicotine free. Welllbutrin didn’t do it so much as I used a 12 Step program.

It takes alot to beat those constant cravings at first. I’ve been trying to quit again after picking it back up 5 months ago.
