I am very sad. I became delusional and anxious again despite taking my AP and AD every day without missing a day. My pdoc adviced me to change the Amisulpride to Clozapine without stopping Sertraline. Is Clozapine an effective AP? Many claims it is.
Clozapine is a very effective AP.
What dose of Amisulpride were you on previously if you don’t mind me asking?
It works really well for quite a few people here. Really sorry to hear you’re struggling. It happens from time to time, unfortunately. Sending you (((hugs))) and best wishes.
I think Clozapine is a great med.
Clozapine is said to be the most effective AP.
I love clozapine. Even tho getting started on it was a b@tch, it’s been extremely efficacious for me. I’m doing better than I have in a long time, with reduced voices and, more important to me, a great reduction in suicidal ideation. I don’t like how it sedates me and makes me salivate excessively, but those are relatively minor and well worth it. I feel so much better on it, have even been coming out of my shell around others more since starting it almost a year ago.
I love Clozapine. Been on it since 2018. Worth giving a go.
Clozapine is the most potent and efficious meds in existence.
Yes, clozapine is strong.
I’ve been taking it but still have symptoms
I like clozapine in low doses for sleep. My heart doesn’t respond well to higher doses.
Thanks everyone for responding. I hope it will work out for me. My pdoc told me that I am going to be on a low dose. That’s something I am happy for😊
I’m also on 400mg amisulpride. Sorry to hear it didn’t work so well for you.
Thanks @Hadeda it never really worked 100%. It just reduced my symptoms. I have been really stressed out before I was hospitalized. I think that’s maybe why I relapsed eventhough I take my meds as usual.
Hope you feel better soon!
Thank you @EarthChild❤️
I hope you feel better. Best wishes.
