Anyone on or been on clozapine? How did it work for you? How long did it take to be effective? And at what dosage?
Depend on you and ur nature of body
I was just about to make the same thread. What are the side effects that you had experienced on Clozapine and did they went away with time?
What did you decide? are you going to try clozapine? How is your experience?
I’ve been on Clozaril for almost a year now; I take 300mg plus 60mg Latuda.
I’m treatment resistant and Clozaril was the only med out of the many I tried that helped significantly.
Do you still hear voices?
I would try other tablets first
Amisulpiride or sulpiride are good
I’m on clozapine and do ok but i would probably have been better staying on amisulpirde as clozapine makes me bed wet so have to use disposable sheets on bed also have to go for blood test once a month before they give me my next supply
Yes, I still do.
Did It have any effect on the voices? How’s you’re mood since takin it?
I have less voices than before, and mood is good though that is mostly due to lithium and Lexapro.
I was born and raised on clozapine. I’m kidding. I have been on clozapine for 8 years now. It’s a good med. I wipes out all positive symptoms and some negative symptoms. The only con is that I tend to forget lot of things. My memory is much worse on clozapine than off of it. Take care.
Did it get rid of your voices Petar?
yes I’m on clozapine, I find it helpful, I take it at night
Did you have voices? Are they gone now? How long did it take to get rid of voices?
Hi. I never heard voices. I just had delusions and bunch of negative symptoms. Clozapine has helped with that.
it mainly helped with my sleeping and anxiety
Hi @NewHope that was my post from a previous account. In the end I did not do it. I agreed to an advance directive
what medication did you opt for instead. Clozapine’s effectiveness is unparalleled but so are side effects.
Yes but remember that there are huge subjective differences, one people may have worse side effects on Abilify or for another one it might work less than the others…
