Should I try a new med that a doc suggested

Amisulpride in addition to clozapine which I’m on

The med is immaterial

They seem to have a habit of being a crap shoot on who they work for and who they don’t

Your doc is trying to help you so I would follow his/her suggestion.

If you not happy with your symptom management then it’s probably wise to try others if you have not tried many

Ye i’m still paranoid

What kind of stuff are you paranoid about? Sorry .I know that’s a personal question but if your comfortable talking about it I kinda want to know … It’s selfish but it makes me feel better hearing others paranoia

one is being killed

Damn . That’s rough.

No one is going to kill you. Try to work on your emotions and reason with yourself. You don’t want to be on 2 ap’s if you can avoid it. As long as you are able to sleep I would wait and see if you can help yourself with adjusting your thoughts to be more logical and optimistic.

trust me i’ve tried

In my experience it’s been environmental changes and meds that have helped the most. It’s really hard to reason when those feelings are really strong…at least that’s been my personal experience :unamused:

ask your pdoc 151515

they suggested it

How long did it take clozapine to work for you? (Re voices etc)

so if they suggested it, you should try it

finding the right med combo is crucial. You’ll never know until you try some different meds

Those 2 antipsychotics are the most potent and affective of all. And amisulpride adjunct is very effective, give it a shot.

Will it cause side effects

Doesn’t work fully. Slightest thing out of the ordinary can set things off

Been on it since January 2023

What I have noticed is that I sleep pretty well and I am much calmer than when I was on the others

No sedation as such and weight I gained I have now lost
