I was seeing this nutritionist who is also an MD and she one day decided out of the blue to prescribe me Ozempic, an injectable diabetes drug that is sometimes used for weight loss promotion.
I freaked out and all of a sudden stopped seeing her.
Well it’s months later, and I need someone who will monitor and coach my progress.
I’ve decided to call her up again and use her as my nutritionist.
I know how to lose weight I just need someone who will serve as a motivator to help keep me on track.
I’m going to turn down any medication she suggests to me.
I’ll be honest with how I feel about being prescribed weight loss medications with her.
Yeah… I’ll call her today.
I’m also going to suggest going on a low carb diet.
Good for you If you want to suggest low carb that’s fine. But she is a nutritionist and it’s probably best to let her tell you what she thinks will work best. Good luck!!!
That’s good that you are back to counting calories @everhopeful, this is what I’m doing too.
I try to keep it around the 1700 calorie range for the day.
I had a cheat day yesterday. My cousin and sister came over and we ordered pizza from Pizza Hut. I don’t think I’ll eat much today to compensate.
I don’t go to a nutritionist. The last dietician I went to was very overweight herself and kept saying that I couldn’t eat anything. Just a soup and 2 slices of bread as dinner. I prefer doing things on my own with calorie counting apps and such.
I have to see this one obesity specialist who is also a nutritionist/dietician.
She’s a doctor, MD and prescribes weight loss medications to treat obesity.
I need medical intervention at this point.
I am afflicted with various obesity related conditions including fatty liver disease, an enlarged heart, diabetes type 2, high blood pressure, high lipid count and atherosclerosis.
