Update on Ozempic use

I’ve hit a bit of a setback using my weight loss/diabetes drug Ozempic.
It’s my second week of being on Ozempic and for the last 6 days or so my appetite has slowly been increasing again.
I initially lost a good amount of weight while being on Ozempic, losing approximately 7 pounds but lately I’ve been eating more carbs and gained like 3 to 4 pounds since.

And to top it all off the needle got bent while taking it out of my belly today.
I don’t know if I received the full dose of medication.

But to be fair im on a very low starter dose of the medication and my doctor plans to raise the dose in 2 weeks.

Im now consuming between 1500 to 2000 calories a day.

In order to lose weight, keep yourself really busy and tell yourself it’s ok to feel hunger. It’s ok to not eat whenever the mood strikes. I had to get used to hunger to lose weight.

Yes @LilyoftheValley I’m trying to distract myself and drinking lots of water but it’s not easy.

Yes I’m trying to cut back on snacking @agent101g

No I think I’m back on track with Ozempic.
I lost a total of 8 pounds so far.

The second injection is curbing my appetite pretty well!

That’s good to hear.

There’s always some bumps on the road, so don’t get discouraged if there is another. Just keep on keeping on.
