I lost my best friend today

No she didn’t die. But just told me she never wanted to speak to me ever again because what we had was a “toxic” relationship. I’m heartbroken. I haven’t stopped crying for the past two hours. Seriously thinking of hurting myself. I can’t imagine my life without her

I’m sorry @Hanna_Foxx. Maybe she will change her mind.

Wow that’s tough. I can’t imagine what you’re going through. There are plenty of fish in the sea.

The four best medicines exercise, laughter sleep and water. I’d go for a walk drink water then fall asleep to a comedy.

She’s never going to change her mind. We’ve known each other for 3 years and this is what is came to. I don’t even want to live any more

Please be careful. If you feel you’re going to hurt yourself, please get help @Hanna_Foxx.

What did she mean by toxic relationship? We’re you destructive together?

There’s always help out there @Hanna_Foxx . I’m 51. Plenty of people have walked through my life. I still have friends and glad they’ve stuck with me but others…It’s so hard now but you’ll make new friends if your open in your life.

If you are feeling suicidal or having a mental health crisis, please tell someone — a friend or family member, a teacher, a doctor or therapist or call 911 (if you’re in the U.S.) or the Emergency Medical Services phone number in your country.

You can also call a crisis intervention hotline—these are available in the U.S. and in many other countries. You do not need to be actively suicidal to benefit from a crisis hotline.

Yes. Remember the crisis lines. Maybe you should think about a stay at the hospital.

No no hospitals. Done two hospital stays in the past month and a half. No more. I’ll be fine. Cried so hard my roommate heard me from upstairs and came down to check on me.

What was her issue with you though?

sorry to hear you lost your friend =(
I hope you feel better soon. Give it some time and mourn like you are doing but don’t go hurting yourself, it’s not worth it.

Friends come and go especially with sz. I lost so many friends especially when I was in mental hospital (lost them all). But made new friends later. I had a period with no friends but I learned that I am more important than friends and that having no friends is better than having bad non empathetic friends. Also some ppl prefer having no friends.

My current friends are more accepting towards sz and know everything about my sz.

Some we were friends since I was 10y.o., for 18yrs. Now I am 31.

So sorry to hear that @Hanna_Foxx, that must be heartbreaking. It’s never easy to lose a friend, no matter what the circumstances

Sometimes it’s one day at a time, sometimes it’s one moment at a time. You’ll get through this, just hang in there
