I think reviews online are very mixed. Some people do ok and lose weight; some have relapses.

I just saw it had 4.5 review out of 10. Was just curious. I’ve gained 40pds on invega.

I took it and it didn’t make all of my positives go away - I still needed a second AP.

I didn’t lose weight on it - the opposite. I gained over 30 pounds in less than 6 months. I had that crazy appetite that you get on something like zyprexa, where you just cannot get enough food no matter how much you eat, and you want to eat all the time.

I switched back to geodon.

Caplyta wasn’t a good med for me.

She recommended me switching to abilify as weight gain is supposed to be less on that but I’m to afraid to switch to anything I think

My weight was lowest on Abilify among meds I have tried, Latuda, Risperidone, Zyprexa, Seroquel.

My negative symptoms and cognition were also best on Abilify.

When you switch ap do you have to wean off the one your on first?

Yes gradually reduce the dose, its called tapering.

I took it. It didn’t really work. I took it maybe 2 weeks so it might not have had time to work.
