I never bought the NOW 200mg because I wanted pure l-theanine. I didn’t know what effect inositol had and didn’t want to experiment…
It does have a weird tea/leaf/herb taste of some sort.
I already feel a bit better
It could be a placebo effect.
Supplements are real drugs with real side effects that may interact with prescription medication. And they’re unregulated, so you have no idea what you’re taking.
Check with your physician before taking any OTC medication.
I’m scared to try any OTC drug.
It’s not closely regulated lots of time.
I ended up in the ER after consuming some Matcha Green Tea from China.
I developed a painful rash all over my body and my blood pressure went to the roof!
I showed my doctor Sarcosine, he did not know what it is. he said, yeah you can try.
L Theanine has not given me side effects yet but I realize, I am a lot calmer and not talking to myself.
@everhopeful Inositol is supposed to help with anxiety. As far as dosage and safety, google what amounts are in food. I have an inositol supplement, the amount in it is similar to a few slices of wheat bread. Since I can eat wheat bread without an issue, I figure it’s OK. Can’t tell the difference in anxiety though.
Can I take 900 mg of this daily?
One for breakfast lunch and supper
Paging @everhopeful
Try taking one at noon and one at 6pm first to see how you get on.
